Since 2017, Digital Revisor has helped thousands of business owners prepare their annual reports and file them with public authorities on their own.
With a tenfold increase in revenue over 5 years and 16,000 users, the time is right for a change, says founder and CEO Niels Dahl:
"The new name clearly signals our desire to enable more people to report and file correctly on their own. We have always been a digital self-service tool, so it is time to drop the word 'revisor' (auditor) and be clearer about what we actually work for every day: making reporting easier and faster."
More requirements for business owners
Digitalization has in many ways made reporting and accounting easier, but the requirements have also increased. The new Bookkeeping Act in 2024 and ESG requirements from banks in 2025 are prime examples of this, and Niels Dahl is naturally aware of it:
"I have been self-employed for quite a few years now and am a former auditor, so I know about the many requirements from the authorities, and there don't seem to be fewer coming in the next few years. To meet them, we have recently launched an ESG reporting tool for small businesses, so the barrier to getting started is lower."
The important things remain the same
Reportability has thousands of users who will be met with a new name when they prepare their annual report next time, but the core remains unchanged.
"The change is not the result of a restructuring or a merger, so the core of the company and the product remains the same. We are known for our efficient and user-friendly tool, as well as a sharp support team. We are obviously not changing that," says Niels Dahl, CEO.
Big ambitions
The company started its journey with a simple tool for solar panel accounting 8 years ago and has since developed process tools for business owners, as well as accountants and bookkeepers. The dreams do not stop here, says Martin Bergholdt, board member and Chief Strategy Officer at Visma e-conomic:
"I look forward to seeing how far Reportability can go. We have seen great growth in the Danish market with the process tool for accountants and bookkeepers and have created a strong foundation that makes us feel ready to look toward new markets outside Denmark's borders in the coming years."
